Privacy Policy

Introduction

Kakuota Support ("we") describes here how the Kakuota website and the Kakuota iOS / Android apps (the "Service") handle user information. You can use the Service without an account. If you don't log in, we do not collect information that identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number or location.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: if you log in, we store your email address, your login method (Google / Apple / email) and the display name and profile picture provided by Google or Apple. Your account is shared with the Kakuota community (community.kakuota.app).
• Device information for notifications: if you allow notifications in the app, we store the push notification token, your display language and the organizations you follow. While you're logged in, the device is linked to your account (logging out removes the link).
• Usage data: Google Analytics collects identifiers such as cookies and usage such as pages viewed and links clicked. Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights collect pages viewed and loading performance (without cookies).
• Quiz results and predictions: if you play the quiz, we store a randomly generated per-device ID with your score and answers. While you're logged in, your quiz results and the fighters you pick in predictions are saved to your account (past quiz results on the device you log in from are linked too).

2. How we use it

• To keep you logged in and show your follows and notes across devices
• To email you login codes
• To notify you before events with the fighters, events and organizations you follow
• To show quiz statistics such as correct-answer rates
• To analyze and improve the Service

3. Service providers and sharing

We use Apple Push Notification service (iOS) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) for notifications, Supabase Auth, Google and Apple for login, Supabase for data storage, Vercel for hosting and Google Analytics for analytics; information is sent to them only as needed. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as required by law, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking.

4. Turning off notifications and deleting data

You can turn off notifications at any time from the app's Following screen or your device's Settings app. When you delete the app, the notification token becomes invalid and no further notifications are delivered.

You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen. This deletes all information tied to it, including your posts and records on the Kakuota community. To request deletion of other data, contact us below.

5. Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles data. You can disable collection through your browser settings or the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Links to other sites

The Service does not host any streams; it links to official streaming services and organizations. Their own policies apply on those sites.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; changes take effect when posted on this page.
