Sora Tanaka

Sora Tanaka is a professional boxer from Japan with an undefeated record of 5-0, all coming by way of knockout. Known as the "Mike Tyson of Yokohama," he is a powerful orthodox fighter who currently holds the OPBF Welterweight title. He achieved three amateur crowns during high school and won several national championships before turning professional in June 2024. In his most recent bout on October 21, 2025, Tanaka successfully defended his OPBF title with a sixth-round technical knockout victory over Shoki Sakai. Prior to that, he captured the vacant OPBF crown by stopping Takeru Kobata in the fourth round in June 2025. His professional career began with three consecutive early technical knockout wins over Ador Torres, Chan Sala, and Dong Young Kim.
